How credits work
- Conversion: 1 credit = €0.01. The packages you buy are converted into credits.
- Mint: credits cover the ArsOrigo creation service, IPFS storage, metadata generation and the on-chain mint operation via ArsOrigo Relayer.
- Update: a metadata-only Update costs 50 credits. If the Update contains new or replaced media, the entire operation costs a maximum of 500 credits, including metadata changes made at the same time.
- ArsOrigo Identitas: each creator operates through a personal Identitas contract. When required, ArsOrigo creates the contract through the protocol Factory and registers it in the official ArsOrigo Registry. Subsequent tokens created by the same creator remain within that Identitas contract.
- Blockchain fees: supported ArsOrigo operations are executed through the ArsOrigo Relayer, so the blockchain gas required by the platform flow is handled by ArsOrigo.
- VAT: prices above are VAT excluded. VAT is calculated at checkout according to applicable regulations.
Frequently asked questions
What is a TokenURI and why is it important?
It is the IPFS address of the metadata.json file that describes
the token: name, description, image, traits and, when present,
video or 3D content. The TokenURI links the on-chain token
to its verifiable metadata.
Do I have to upload an image?
Yes. The image is the required cover of the token.
You can also add one advanced asset:
video or GLB.
Can I upload both video and GLB?
No. A token can contain an image plus a video
or an image plus a GLB.
Video and GLB cannot coexist in the same token metadata.
How much does an Update cost?
An Update involving only name, description or traits costs
50 credits.
If new or replacement media are uploaded, the entire Update costs
500 credits maximum, regardless of the number of
permitted changes made in that operation.
Why does Mint with additional media cost 1000 credits?
A standard Mint with the required image costs 500 credits.
Adding a video or 3D GLB brings the total Mint cost to 1000 credits.
This keeps the cost consistent whether the additional media is included
during Mint or added later through a Media Update.
What is an ArsOrigo Identitas contract?
It is the personal on-chain contract associated with a creator
in the ArsOrigo ecosystem.
The contract is created through the ArsOrigo Factory and registered
in the official ArsOrigo Registry.
Tokens subsequently created by that creator remain part of the same
Identitas contract.
How does the ArsOrigo wallet work?
Your ArsOrigo account is associated with a Polygon wallet address.
During wallet creation, the private key must be saved securely by the user.
The same private key can then be imported into the ArsOrigo Wallet,
allowing the mobile wallet to access the same blockchain identity
and the ArsOrigo tokens owned by that address.
Does ArsOrigo keep my private key?
The private key is intended to remain under the user's control.
It must be saved securely and can be imported into the ArsOrigo Wallet
or another compatible Polygon wallet.
What is “Recent Work” in ArsOrigo?
Recent Work lets you recover recently generated TokenURIs
and related metadata if you do not mint immediately,
so you can continue your work without generating the same content again.
Who pays the blockchain gas?
For supported operations performed through the ArsOrigo platform,
ArsOrigo Relayer submits the on-chain transaction and handles
the required blockchain gas.
When do I see the total including VAT?
At checkout. You will see Subtotal, VAT and Total in EUR
before completing the payment.
